Jenn has a BFA from SUNY Stony Brook with a minor in Biology, as well as a certificate for Natural Science Illustration for the NY Botanical Garden. She is also a LI Master Naturalist Alumni and serves on it's board, and she is a member of many local artists groups, as well as the Guild of Natural Scientific Illustrators. Her work is part of many private collections, has been published in the Fire Island Times, and her illustrations have been part of research dissertation defense.

Her process includes sketching outside locally, and close observation and study of subjects in the studio. Through observation and constant learning, she educates through art. She draws inspiration from her local environment of the estuaries, woods and beaches of the South Shore of Long Island, NY.

Jenn is happiest working traditionally in graphite and watercolor, and enjoys the range of texture and detail that can be achieved in both. She also works digitally in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Procreate.
